We got to attend the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 over the weekend! It was amazing to watch the movie while the talented VSO performed the musical accompaniment.
Being a major Harry Potter fan this was an absolute treat! Watching the movie at the VSO was way better than watching the movie in theatre because the music was grander.
The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra performs at the Orpheum in Vancouver, BC. They perform a number of different genres of music so there is something for everyone. If you like music seeing an orchestra live should be on your list. There is something that a recording just can’t capture.
The Orpheum is an amazing building with so much detail and history! It has been a long time since we have been inside.
They will be performing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in July. We are hoping to attend that show as well so stay tuned!
