Took some time to try out a new restaurant in Fort St. John! We love to go out for Japanese food as it is one that is a little bit harder for us to cook at home as it is neither of our backgrounds.

On this outing we tried out My Sushi and were not disappointed. The food tasted great and was fresh. The way we could tell it was fresh is how hot the gyoza and chicken kara-age were and how tender the rice was.

Miso Soup – $3
Tako Sunomono – $6
Gyoza – $7
Spider Roll – $16
Spicy California Roll – $8
Chicken Kara-age – $10

The down side was that the menus were printed on cardstock and were stained from previous customers. Online there are pictures of what look like plastic coated menus, but was not the case when we were there. The all you can eat menu was laminated though.

Pricing was a little high for the spider roll as it only came with 4 pieces compared to other rolls that come with six to eight pieces.

The tables were all separated with partitions which gave privacy for ones dining experience. If you prefer some sound buffer and visual privacy from other dinners this might be worth checking out. There were nice decorations around the space as well.

We do plan on trying out other dishes on the menu in the future as there were a few items that sparked our interest. Might need to bring others with us next time to get more dishes to share.
