Enjoyed a pleasant stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Williams Lake, BC. Affordable rates, friendly staff, and a welcoming, pet-friendly atmosphere made it a great choice for our trip. There is a good size parking lot and even an electric car charging station.
Room: 2 Queen Beds, Non-Smoking
We stayed in a basic room that had 2 queen beds. Was perfect for the one night that we needed to stay during our trip. Was clean and had all the basic amenities that one would need during a short stay at a hotel.
The bathroom had lots of towels and some Dove soap and body lotion. A nice touch as it is a well known product.
Breakfast
The hotel provided a continental breakfast from 5-11 a.m. daily. We were able to take advantage of this and the options were good for a quick bite. There was a toaster for the toast, bagels, and English muffins. There was also a microwave for the pancakes, waffles, and egg bites.
There was also fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and yogurt available. A great option was that they also had gluten free bread to be mindful of people with food sensitivities.
I wish that we had been able to spend more time in Williams Lake as when we drove in and out of town it it looked like a nice place. It is a smaller town, but had a lot of the main amenities one would look for.
If we ever are in need of a place to stay Super 8 by Wyndham will be a contender.
