As someone who wants consistency in their accommodation when traveling it is important to know your options and for hotels to maintain the standards they promote. I have now stayed at the Coast Prince George by APA on three separate occasions with a fourth coming up shortly. I have enjoyed my stay each time and have been in three of their different styles of rooms.

The thing that surprised me the most about the Coast Queen is that there was no microwave. I was not the one who did the booking so did not know the type I had until we arrived and checked in. The room was the same square footage as the Coast Two Queens, but had the one less bed and microwave. It did have two night stands instead of the one night stand in the Coast Two Queens. The Coast Queen also had a bathtub which is something to consider depending on what is needed during your travels.

The Coast Two Queens is what I would consider a great standard room. There is a mini fridge and a microwave which are basics that one might need while traveling. This room did have a glass walled shower and no tub, which is something to consider if you prefer a tub or need one. This would be my go to basic room if I was to stay in Prince George. However, it is not pet friendly, so would only work if I was traveling without my dog.

The Coast Premium Queen Junior Suite felt like luxury for what I normally stay in when I travel. However, it was a necessity as this is a pet friendly room. There are only four room types that are pet friendly: Coasts Two Doubles, Coast Premium Queen Junior Suite, Coast Premium King Junior Suite, and Coast Premium Two Queens Junior Suite. This does limit your options, but I found the price still reasonable what what we got.
