Taking a leap into a different genre with Garbage Day by Domenic Pappas. Not my typical historical fiction or business books, but a must read for me. Garbage Day is written by talented man I grew up with. When you do K-12 with someone, you feel compelled to support them in any way you can.

Garbage Day focuses on an environmental movement that takes a wild turn because of the media. The book is set in modern day, but spins into a civil war scenario. I was not expecting the book to end the way it did based on the beginning.

There was modern slang in the book which, for those up to date on trends will find easy to follow. I struggled a little bit (the old historical reads), but was able to get through it.

I am looking forward to see what Domenic comes up with next as I love to support people that I know.
